The Gulf draws professionals and families from all over the world, and expat life there brings its own pressures — intense work cultures, transience, distance from home, and limited access to therapy in your own language and style.
Therapy that travels with you
As a BABCP-registered psychotherapist based in London, I work online with English, Latvian and Russian speakers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the Gulf. You don't have to compromise on language, approach or rapport because of where you happen to live. We meet by secure video, at a time arranged around your time zone.
How I can help
I work with the specific strains of life in the Gulf — work pressure, isolation, transition and relationships — with sessions timed for GST. The therapy itself — understanding what's going on, feeling genuinely heard, finding a way forward — is every bit as effective online as in person, as the research consistently shows.
Sessions in your language
I offer therapy in English, Latvian and Russian. Doing this work in your mother tongue, rather than a second language, often makes all the difference. (Latviski · Русский)
Getting started
The first step is an initial assessment online — an unhurried conversation about what brings you, with no obligation to continue. You can book directly, choosing a time in your own time zone, or read more about how online therapy works first.
Not sure where to start? A free, confidential self-assessment can help.
