The initial assessment
The first session is a 50-minute conversation to understand what is happening, what kind of therapy may help, and whether working together feels right for you. There is no obligation to continue beyond it.
Insurance
The practice is recognised by major insurers including Bupa, AXA, Aviva and Vitality, as well as Healix and Cigna. Many policies cover psychological therapy, though cover, session limits and any excess depend on your individual policy. It is always worth confirming the terms with your insurer before starting, and I'm happy to provide the documentation insurers typically require.
Self-funding
If you would rather not involve insurance, or your policy doesn't cover therapy, self-funding clients are equally welcome. Payment is made in advance of each session.
Cancellation
Cancellations within 48 hours of a session are charged in full, as the time has been reserved for you.
